NOLA BLISS MASSAGE

COVID-19 PROCEDURES

Sanitation and Hygiene Standards

The safety of our clients and therapists is our top priority. We are committed to meeting the highest sanitation and hygiene standards in our industry. We follow Practice Guidelines recommended by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the State of Louisiana.

DISINFECTANT DETAILS:

We use Rejuvenate disinfectant products that utilize an Accelerated Hydrogen Peroxide technology, the solutions are biodegradable and non-irritating– and have been tested to be effective against COVID-19.  Between each session therapists disinfect the massage table and all high-touched surfaces with this EPA registered hospital grade disinfectant. Everyone on the NOLA Bliss team has training and certification in Infection Prevention and Disease Control from Rejuvenate.

OSHA STANDARD LINENS:

All of our linens are laundered offsite and meet OSHA standards for medical linens.

MEDICAL GRADE AIR FILTERS IN EACH ROOM:

We have medical-grade air filters in each treatment room. HEPA H13 filters remove 99.97% of particles down to 0.1 microns and filters the entire room air every 15 minutes.

HAND WASHING/SANITIZING PROTOCOLS:

Therapists follow CDC hand washing practices before and after each massage, and everyone who enters the building washes their hands at our ground floor washing station. You will find hand sanitizer in every room to use after your massage and as needed.

INTAKE AND CONSENT FORM:

We will ask everyone to fill out an intake form via email and sign an informed consent form that states, “I understand that close contact with people increases the risk of infection from COVID-19. By signing this form, I acknowledge that I am aware of the risks involved and give consent to receive massage from this practitioner.”

FACE MASKS ARE NOT REQUIRED FOR GUESTS:

Face masks are not required for clients. They are worn by therapists upon request. We respect each person's decision to wear a mask or not and happily comply with requests by clients for their therapist to wear a mask (this also can be mentioned in the room).

POST-MASSAGE COMMUNICATION:

If you develop any symptoms or test positive for COVID-19 in the days following your massage, we ask that you inform us.
