Do we need to be romantic partners to book a couples massage? 

Not at all! While many couples choose this experience for romance, we welcome friends, siblings, parent-child pairs, or any two people who want to relax together. The "couples" format simply means sharing the same room—there's no expectation of romance. Many best friends, mothers and daughters, and even colleagues book our side-by-side sessions for quality bonding time.

I've never had a massage before. Will I know what to do? 

First-timers are welcome and common! When you arrive 15 minutes early, we'll walk you through everything: where to change, what to expect, how to position yourself on the table, and how to communicate during the session (it's perfectly fine to speak up about pressure or temperature). Your therapist will guide you every step of the way. The hardest part is simply relaxing—and we'll help you with that too.

Can I book if I'm pregnant, have injuries, or have health conditions? 

Yes, in most cases! During your consultation, you'll discuss any health considerations with your therapist, who will adapt techniques accordingly. We have experience working with pregnant clients (second and third trimester), recent injuries, chronic pain conditions, and various health needs. Will we need to undress completely, and is that awkward with my partner there? 

You undress to your comfort level—most clients undress completely and remain draped with sheets throughout (only the area being worked on is uncovered), but you can also keep undergarments on if preferred. You'll change privately before entering the treatment room together, and professional draping ensures you're always covered. Most couples find the shared vulnerability actually deepens their connection, but there's zero pressure—your comfort comes first.

What if we want different types of massage or different pressure levels? 

This is one of our specialties! It's extremely common for partners to have different needs—one wanting deep tissue while the other prefers gentle Swedish, for example. Each person has their own therapist who customizes the pressure, technique, and focus areas independently. You'll each fill out separate intake forms and communicate your individual preferences. Your experience is truly personalized, even though you're together in the same room.
